Because we don’t speak all languages, we would like to offer you this small service to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Here you will find some information in your national language.
Registration:
Reception is open from 8am to 12pm. If you arrive later, please choose a free pitch. You can then log in the next morning. If you have reserved, you will find your pitch number on the reservation confirmation.
Electricity:
You will find electricity supply columns near the pitches. You choose a free socket and insert coins at the terminal. The machine accepts coins of 10ct. up to 2 euros. Billing is based on consumption.
Disposal:
Disposal is free for guests. You can drain your gray water via the waste water channel in the disposal area. You can empty and flush the toilet cassette at the emptying column. A description can be found on the pillar.
Drinking water:
You can tap drinking water at the drinking water column for a fee. The column processes coins of 10 ct. up to 2 euros. With the start-stop button you can start and interrupt the refueling process. Your credit remains intact.
TV:
You have satellite reception on all seats.
WIFI:
WIFI is free for our guests. At the reception you will find the password and a QR code for logging in.
Gas:
You can exchange your empty gray 11 kg gas bottle during reception hours.
The way to the city:
You can reach the city center both by bike and by public transport. To get to the bus stop, leave the parking area to the right. Then turn left into Stöhrerstraße until you reach the traffic lights. At the crossing, turn right into Braunstrasse. The bus stop is 50 meters away. Line 70 goes there.
By bike, the way to the city leads through two parks and along bike paths. So you don’t have to risk your life to reach the old town.
Ticket:
You can buy a day ticket from the bus driver. There are day tickets for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 people. The ticket is valid for 24 hours for all means of transport.
Children up to 6 years are free. If you have a dog, buy a ticket for one more person. Small dogs that you can carry are free.
Old town:
Leipzig’s old town is one of the most beautiful of Germany’s major cities.
With line 70 you go 6 stops to Stöckelstraße. There you change to tram line 1. Line 1 takes you to the main train station. The old town is opposite the train station.
Leipzig Central Station is also worth a visit. It is the largest terminal station in Europe and has been voted Germany’s most beautiful station for years. There are over 360 shops in the station.
Zoo:
The Leipzig Zoo is the most beautiful zoo in Germany and is famous for its tropical hall, the Gondwanaland.
Take line 1 from the train station and go one stop further to Goerdelerring. From there, walk 300 meters down Pfaffendorfer Straße to the main entrance.
Monument to the Battle of the Nations and Panometer:
The Monument to the Battle of the Nations is one of the largest monuments in Europe. From its 95 meter high peak you have a great view over Leipzig. The adjoining museum is worth a visit. In the panometer you can see a panorama picture with an associated thematic exhibition. The exhibitions in the Panometer change every year.
Bus line 70 takes you directly to the monument to the Battle of the Nations = stop „An der Tabaksmühle“ and to the panometer two stops further „Altenburger Straße“
Tourist information:
The tourist information is located on Katharinenstraße, just a short distance from the old town hall.
Experience Leipzig from the water:
There is a canal system in the southwest of Leipzig. The boathouse on Klingerweg offers trips on the canals. the rides take about 60 minutes. Take line 1 to the end of the tram at Klingerweg. From there it is only a few meters to the boathouse.
